'such a foolish dream' by the auroran sunset

return to my poetry's home.

such a foolish dream

the wonder is wild upon the moor;
a night so still...
she prowls as quiet as the heather
so softly trod. a will wild
and free: she races across the night,
purring at the moon.
a fleeting glance, a flashing eye,
she flys from view.
and we all scorn such a foolish dream,
but that wind is you and i.
