'movement' by the auroran sunset

return to my poetry's home.

a recently found poem. i don't remember when i wrote it. see here for more explanation/speculation.

movement

sitting, dripping time on a stone,
melting light in a wheel.
spin! eyes melting: entwine.
run across the sad sea,
hear its echoes fade into the room.
watch! music percolating through leaves.
into the cold, cold piano;
life's beat runs through your hair.
play! mind running so far.
clearing smoky eyes from the cage,
clouds flow into the holes.
breathe! skull pressing wider.
empty, the sound falls,
into the hole comes a dream.
dive! through the seams a river rides.
beats punctuate the light, and into
the night a scream rises.
eyes steam, on level ropes hanging
through the sky.
